What we collect

• Account - your name, email, and (if you use email/password) a hashed password. Google sign-in shares your basic profile.
• Learning data - your progress, streak, diamonds, badges, certificates, and code you save in lessons.
• Support & contact - messages you send us.
• Technical - basic logs and a session cookie to keep you signed in.

How we use it

• To run the Service, track your progress, and personalise your path.
• To send transactional email (verification, receipts, support) and - only if you opt in - reminders and product updates.
• To keep the platform secure and improve it.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate Devpuff:

• Lemon Squeezy- payments & subscriptions (they handle your card details, not us).
• Resend - sending email.
• DeepSeek- powering the Ask Puff AI tutor. Your lesson context and question are sent to generate a reply; we don't send your identity.
• Hosting & database providers - to store and serve the app.

We never sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

Email preferences

Reminder, achievement, and product emails are opt-out at any time via the link in each email or in Settings. Account and billing emails are always sent.

Your rights

You can access and edit your information in Settings, and permanently delete your account and all associated data from the danger zone in Settings - this cascades and leaves no orphaned data.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data; some records may persist briefly in backups before rotating out.

Children

Devpuff isn't directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live).
